Just a couple of minor points, Mikie. Nothing really big, a couple of nagging details.

We all know Linux is essentially re-compiled versions of SCO products.

Except that hundreds of thousands of pairs of eyes, on all that openly published code, over more than a decade, have failed to detect the similarities. Funny thing, how 'we all know' something without a shred of collaborating evidence.

This is common knowledge within the CIO community out here.

Well, the upper midwest community has its own sources, apparently. The CIO community at large doesn't have that particular pipeline.

As I was rebooting my XP machine,

and rebooting, and rebooting, and rebooting...

A post without evidence of fine dining leaves the reaer unfulfilled and simply won't rate over a 5.0 or so. Nice picture anyway.
