Nothing in there was meant to be condescending. Strange how you always take it that way. Possibly you feel the need to be defensive even when not called for???

I am simply saying, if it meets your needs, then use it and live with your choice, not call me names or throw insults at me because I do not agree with you.

So you seem to be saying that even though I call MS (or other proprietary offerings) to task when I see it, that isn't being fair to open source. Hmmm, do you see a double standard here or are those glasses coloring that too?

Here's how it will be tic. If I think MS, Oracle, Peoplesoft, Adobe, AutoDesk, whoever, or even Linux has a weakness, I will say so. If I believe someone posts something stupid or completely inaccurate, I will speak up. If I see people claiming someone is guilty of something without having even a clue about it, I will speak up. If I see people talking trash about Bill Gates for buying millions of dollars in meds for third world countries, I am going to say something.

Now if you think that is bashing or if you happen to swallow a dictionary that day, good for you, I simply do NOT care. To further promote harmony between us, please feel free to ignore any and all posts I make. Your feedback, while appreciated, isn't required for me to express my views.

If you feel I am "bashing" anyone, please just ignore it. I do NOT agree with you and I am not about to change my mind on the subject and will continue to make factual statements as I see fit. By all means, feel free to do the same...
