Hmm. no layoffs but 175 "new" jobs were all overseas.
At my company, we did not lay off. We just did not hire anyone new with roughly 175 positions all being indians- 60 onsite and 115 overseas.

I asked about a job for a friend thinking at some point they might hire a few americans for political coverage and get this- they got really wierd about wanting the date she graduated from high school. It was like it mattered more than anything else on the resume.

Can we say blatant age discrimnation? The oldest indian contractor is maybe 35ish.

But the basic point is- sure, there were no layoffs- just 175 NEW TWO YEAR LONG JOBS that did not go to americans.
