Whatch what people are doing these days
10 years ago people were planting thier backyards with grass. In the past couple of years I've seen those people digging up thier grass and putting in fairly large gardens where they can and freeze thier own food. They do this because food is just getting too expensive in stores.

I have also noticed another trend of bartering showing up. Just recently I saw a farmer get his tractor fixed by a heavy duty mechanic in exchange for a side of beef. Also I've noticed rancher selling beef right from thier farm. That's how I bought my beef, got it for $1.70 a pound all wrapped and ready for the freezer, had I gone to grocery store this would have been $3.90 a pound minus the good cuts of beef.

Times are changing and I expect we see more farmers markets showing up and people avoid the Walmart and similiar big box grocery stores. In the mean time Walmart will serve to set the people to produce thier own products. These corporations are sowing the seeds of thier own destruction.
