It is simple illogical to say that jobs going to India and the like
do not effect us here. Say X amount of IT jobs have gone to India. So are you saying that an equal number of those very same jobs also become available here? How does that make sense? If X amount of manufacturing jobs leave this country...X amount are also created here? I see a great many abandoned factories and I don't see a lot of Made in America labels in Walmart. I do see some Assembled in American hear and there however.

If you ship jobs over seas for cost savings, then you will not replace those jobs here in America cause then you do not get the benefit of cost savings. What's more your competition will be forced to also ship jobs over sea's to keep their costs down. They will not be able to hire what you layed off..they will HAVE to layoff themselves and send even more jobs over sea's.

We are told that NEW opportunities are right around the corner and new jobs. Yes I agree there will be more Walmarts and SAM's Clubs and they will need workers. There will be more fast food joints and burgers will need flipping and fries will need to be dropped in oil. And this is good because nobody will be able to afford anything but Walmart/SAM's and cheap fast food.

Let us not forget that the administration attempted to change the designation of fast food employment for a "Service" industry to a "Manufacturing" industry. That is correct with a little luck you boy or girl can grow up right here in American to be a "Burger Engineer"..how proud we will all be eh:)
