Comcast blocks spam loophole

Comcast supports?

Comcast shut me down on July 4th. No advance notice.

Their instuctions on resetting my port to 587 does not work for Windows XP/SP3.

Comcast HelpDesk told me my computer was infected. And that I neede to run a virus scan.

My reply? I run a full scan each week using the McAfee software provided by Comcast. And I have 12 years of experience as a I.T. Security Officer.

The chat and "help" went downhill from there.

But he must have done something. I am now receiving emails, I just cannot send any email from Outlook Express.
