RE: Comcast blocks spam loophole
I'm a home user. And this action by Comcast killed my email account - without any advance warning.

Got a email from Comcast on July 4th stating I met their profile for a spammer. I send/receive about 50 emails per day. Occasionally send / receive video clips of about 2 MB.

The "one click link" Comcast provided to adjust my port setting did not work.

Spent 3 hours with Comcast's HelpDesk on Sunday trying to re-establish the ability for me to sent / receive emails from Microsoft Outlook Express on my computer.

Comcast has now asked for full access to my computer so they can "fix my problem".

Comcast's software to upload my Address book to their server also does not work. Who wants to retype hundreds of email addresses by hand? I do Internet research for several customers and use my Outlook Express emails as historical records. Some go back 3-4 years. I can't just upload them to the limited space provided on Comcast'e email server.

I didn't have any d$%& problems BEFORE Comcast touched my computer.
