I know this isn't a Linux article, but it seems these days whenever Microsoft is mentioned, Linux becomes part of the discussion by default.

The reason I bring up Linux is because you referred to a non-MS alternative. Truly there is no brighter alternative out there. An OS that isn't dependent on a corporation for its survival? Wow. You mean we can buy it and no one will ever force us to upgrade? Wow.

And who is attacking Linux?

SCO -- funded through "alleged" licensing deals with Microsoft.

Gee, why would Microsoft want to help SCO.

Oh yeah, they respect intellectual property.

DOES IT GET any better than this?
