Boycott?
It's not a boycott. It is business plain and simple. With all this "side business" going on, SCO isn't concentrating on their "core business" of unix. Who in their right mind would use products that were below standard to start with, aren't being worked on fulltime, and most likely won't exist in the near future. Everyone more or less knows SCO has given up on its "core business", even their main investor wants them to concentrate more on the lawsuits.

The whole suing of customers and such are extras that just pat the decision maker's back for making such a smart choice.

Now add the fact that their "side business" isn't doing too good you end up with horrible returns. The idea of billons coming in from licensing of Linux was... at the least questionable when people assumed there was illegal code in Linux, but now the best SCO could hope for is IBM laying down some pocket change from the lawsuit.
