- I will take this.

Although I disagree with the previous poster, your post makes it sound like MS did a great job with the listed products. Lets be realistic.
- Visual Studio - Acutally I like it.
- MS Office - poor - It is just plain stupid that one version can't read another's, that I need OpenOffice to translate.
- XBOX - poor - in comparison to Gamecube and PS2, I hate this console.
- Flight Simulator - ? - ummm, ok... wouldn't that go to the inventor Bruce Artwick who set up a small company called SubLOGIC. And if you must credit an OS, it would fall to Apple, although marketing would go to MS.
- Publisher - I like it.
- Internet Explorer - crap, the advantages you have with this thing is too many websites were created for it and it loads quickly. For me, it crashs too easily, and for pre-2000/XP systems, that meant a whole system crash! I like opera, firefox, and even Mozilla much better. Lets not forget the ActiveX problems.
- WMA player - I think it is ok, but WMP overall is just as bad as Real... ok, not as bad but close. For me, WMP crashes all the time and I don't even use it. I open a folder with corrupt media files, and WMP crashes and takes Explorer with it. The Divx and BSPlayer are much better.
I would love it if we could take WMP and IE out of Windows. Actually for IE, I just want the html render out. - Posted by: doe_z Posted on: 06/11/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
