- Is MS part of the problem or the solution?

Dear Mr. Gates, the computing community is tired of spyware and adware, can Microsoft help?
Please build into the OS anti-spyware and anti-adware technology, will Microsoft do this?
Computer users are tired of transmission of page views back to GATOR/GOOGLE or whoever.
Must the industry be regulated or will MS address these hot issues.
Please respond with foolproof security, it is one thing if users understand and give up the page view data, but do they know what information is being transmitted to third parties.
