Then can someone explain...

Several additional point of confusion made by the vendor...go to their site and go to the Buy now section. Read the heading. You're 'Buying a Product'. Now, if you go and actual read the licensing detail. They do say that you can distribute the parts that are 'free' that comes with the 'product'. However, how would one to know what is consider 'free' and what is consider 'not free' ? Especially when the bundled product integrates them all into 1 platform (platform = stack of the applications/software that forms the basis of a working computer to achieve a computational goal).

According to the spirit of the GPL, shouldn't those be 'marked' in the product ? Otherwise, smells too much like they're trying to hide behind these and use it as FUD to prevent ppl from furthur distributing the 'free' part of the product.

What are the pure OSS folks when you needed them ???
