Isn't it already free?

That's what the article says. You get it free minus a few things like you listed.

Now what's to stop you from taking this Distro and adding the missing parts. I'd think nothing.

Also I'd like to know what they mean by "doesn't have email support". Does that mean there is no SMTP server or does it mean there is NO email software what so ever. If that is the case what the big deal either way. Download Mozzila mail and Send Mail and away you go.

Now why would you do this in the first place when you can get a disto for free that comes with it all in one package.
