I agree with you fully. Use what you like and move on. Here's a relatively benign article on Apple's quarterly profit, and some Windows loving slasher posts that Apple is next to useless now. What's the point of that? It's so obviously wrong that the only reason could be jealousy or blind hatred for a computing platform. To me that's the epitome of zealotry.
Although there are exceptions, a majority of the time I see Mac users having to logically defend the Mac because of idiots like this.
