- Obviously the CVS site must not be secure.

They are cleaning their own site because of this code. They do no practice what you preach. Why should we assume that the OSS database is secure?
Also don't you find it a little bit curious that they say they never claimed it was secure and yet they opened themselves up to attack? They also state the vulnerability exploits any remote protocol.
