Here's what's really going on....
MS is going for more and more ridiculous patents in a blatant
attempt to overthrow the US Patent Office. Clearly, they're going
to publicly push the boundaries, and see just how idiotic the
Patent Office is willing to be, how stupid and obvious a patent
they're willing to grant. If they do it enough, and make enough
of a splash, we'll finally see the reform we've been hoping for.

So let us all thank the wise and giving folk at Microsoft, for
being willing to go out on a limb, in order to create a better
world for us all. Amen.
