- for my money, I think the schools need to go back to the three R's

too many programs focus on "Standards" as a means of hiding the fact that the institution isn't reaching the kids and preparing them for life.
If they teach 'em to write the Word process is essentially a publishing tool just like a calculator makes a slid-rule user more productive for some things as long as the batteries hold out.
