And what: use a second rate desktop OS
..like Linux (now, this line command will do this, unless your running that then it may cuase this to do something else...). or maybe the EXPENSIVE (and hardware dependent and not truly backwards compatable) OS like Mac?

I can see why most here aren't in the computer industry.

And by the way, once you print your homework, it doesn't matter what Office system you use, so even if they went with MS office, parents could still use anything they wanted to at home for simple word processing....
