Linux ISN'T vulnerable ...
precisely because it has much better security tools than other OS's. Unlike most desktop OS's which were initially created for stand alone PC's and have been trying to play catch up ever since, Linux, like Unix, was bred for the internet and initially designed with security in mind. And that will only get better with new features like this from the hardware vendors, which Linux is implementing BEFORE MS, and which OS's based on other hardware don't even have in the first place.
In addition to this, governments around the world are employing their best security experts to design new ways to harden Linux, an effort which Microsoft and other OS vendors simply can't match. On of those efforts being conducted by the our own NSA is already bearing fruit in the form of a very refined access control system already beginning to appear in the mass market distros. Linux security is the best without a doubt and is outrunning the competitors going forward.
