No, shows how serious they take security, and how fast open source works
With airplanes, your plan is to never get into a stall. But, you still need to ge training on how to handle a stall. That is the same approach here. Everybody will be writing code so that this will never be needed, but humans write the code . . .

And, the humans at Microsoft tend to be a lot sloppier about security.
