Intel has put on the good guy hat recently. Today they distance themselves further from HP and Microsoft. HP is now the largest tech company by revenue and has abandoned the HP way for the wrong ways of identity theft. Microsoft has long been associated with wrong doing - even being labeled a criminal organization by Judge Jackson. By simply supporting efforts not associated with scandle, Intel does itself great benefit. See that Intel has joined the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) program. Let charities no longer be used as tools of the wrong doers. Lets see the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation get on board with OLPC. Yea that will never happen. The point is that apparently-innovative products will not by themselves be cutting it in a Web 2.0 economy. Citizens are judging others by the products and companies supported. The products must be free of the hint of impropriety. see
