This is a very common practice. What is uncommon (and very desirable!,) is
Oracle's response.

Notice, even in their apology TomorrowNow is denying guilt -- this is what Oracle
is up against.

I was at a business meeting in Boston -- maybe six months ago -- and a
TomorrowNow consultant said something. I think he knew of this stuff then. I
didn't have an interest, as my firm is very small, we're just a few guys with some
blades and a 'net connection.

IBM, in 1977 or '78, when it still focused on hardware and strictly related
consulting (and not general IT solutions) had a problem akin to this, and they
solved the problem by firing all the guilty parties. Everyone knew: You can trust
the folks from IBM.
