This format is junk. If you know anything about XML, you know it's junk. This isn't going to go away, it will always be junk.
Microsoft should have just left it to sink without a trace, and adopt ODF instead, since it is technically far superior.
They won't be able to hide how had MS XML is, and it will be a continuing embarassment.
