Free Software Foundation releases GPL 3
Stallman finds more ways to restrict your freedom. By using GPL v3 you give up all rights on your software. He was crazy to block Novell-Microsof deals. Those deals are the only things that might have a chance at saving linux from its death bed. What better way to get your software out there than have a competitor distribute it? Of course Microsoft had to do it to save linux so they could have some competition but people like Stallman would never see it this way. Now that linux is on the decline and will be going down ever faster you can thank him for it.
