Great to see people embracing freedom and free software, they go hand in
hand. And, the more using free software, the more that will be collaborating to improve free software applications.

It is easy to see why MS has gone the patent racket route. They are slowly losing out on the lock-in front, and free software is actually better than MS alternatives in many areas. And, for developing countries where the overriding factor is cost, the choice is a no brainer.
