I've read several of your posts in the past and today's. You seem a bit angry at the whole Linux/Open Source movement. Still I can't help but wonder why you don't see the advantages of competition? It is a fundamental ingrediant of our capatalist system. Competition is suppose to keep prices down, and increase the quality of services and products. Linux/Open Source should provide this to the OS/Software markets.
Still on other occasions you seem to rail against the idea of individuals spending time and effort on this project, and as you say "Not being paid" for their efforts. Still I have yet to hear from any of these so called abused people's. If they are happy in doing what they are doing...why your concern? Also I tend to believe that they are paid in one form or another, but I will admit I'm not farmiliar with this issue.
The way I look at Linux/Open Source is this. I personally don't use it. I'm happy with the Mac and my being a Mac support person. However I'm glad that Linux/Open Source exist. It provides me and others more choices and choice is always a good thing. It provides the industry as a whole competition and I see competition as a good things for the consumer, and strangley enough for the industry in general. There is nothing tha makes someone better than competition with a worthy adversary. This is true for athletics and industry as well.
