You're campaigning against its use with obviously apocryphal attacks against its significance rather than what it's actually about? Asides from the point that it's up to the copyright holder, not you, whether it's used at all.

Whine all you want, at the end of the day it's not up to you, it's not your right and you're just going to have to get used to it (and stop whinging all the damn time).
