MS doesn't really want to got into that
The whole 'switch to web' is not a good deal for Microsoft.

The reason is that for web applications you only need a web browser. This makes users less and less dependent on Windows, as they can access the same applications from Mac or Linux (using Safari or Firefox). The most important reason for Microsoft's domination on the desktop market is availablity of quality applications.

People don't switch to other platforms because lack of applications, but if we move good apps. to Web, there won't be any reason to pay for Windows if you can get Linux for free. If MS people are any smart, they would create such web applications that people get the feeling that Web isn't really ready for prime time.
