Don't bet on it!
Microsoft's dirty tricks have backfired one after another. In the process, they are learning how to compete the hard way. Of course they can use and abuse home users. But business users, especially corporate users are savy to these little games and are refusing to play along. So Microsoft is gradually cleaning up their act. Not that they are a fount of integrity. They simply have no other choice. As they pay one fine after another and settle one lawsuit after another and face one investigation after another they are slowly learning to play it straight. They even have their own GPL type license now. I expect them to eventually produce some very good Linux products as they continue to learn that the customer is always right, a concept that has eluded them for years.
