The security angle is bull-doots

Ok, M$ says that virtualizing Vista Home/Premium is a security issue but virtualizing Vista Business/Ultimate is not. That means that either M$ has hobbled the security of the home products or they are doing a money grab. If they have hobbled the security of the home products, then we should expect that the home products are exploitable, M$ knows they are exploitable and that they don't care. If this is true, then expect the antivirus and antispam markets to remain robust as people purchase 3rd party products to patch these 'known' holes.

Or, it could be a money grab with the rationale that if you can afford virtualization, you can afford the more expensive versions of Vista.

Considering the vendor, it would be very hard to guess which assumption is more accurate.
