I'm with DemonX on this one. Software testing will be hindered because of this decision.
The "wow" is my surprise at "Loverock's" statements. Wouldn't opening up virtualization to Basic be something a staunch Microsoft supporter would want? I mean, if one was actually interested in the proliferation of one's favorite operating system.
I have successfully run Vista Business as a guest OS using Parallels from within Windows XP and it appears to work rather well. I like it and I did purchase it.
