"illegal for Microsoft to require as a part of it's OEM agreements that a Desktop PC must have a Microsoft produced operating system installed on it."

The OEM agreement limits me from selling the OEM software without installing it on a new computer, not the other way around, fool. What do you think they could withhold if you don't install windows, the keyboard and mouse? Microsoft is pretty weak in the hardware sector. The market would speak clearest in OEM... Save $100+ if you want Linux on a new computer, $400 for open source office and Linux. I offer the choice. No takers save 1. Mind you, he's happy, but he sure ain't average.
