- I will stick with google.
-
Google is my home page. Why? Cause it is very simple, quick to come up, and I can get to other places throught it. It's like having a thick closed book in front of you. To me their site says "Searching is our primary concern".
The competitors... they seem to tack searching onto other stuff. We got so much junk, ads, and news all around the search area... it's irritating. They give me the feeling that I am being lured in by the search feature and then get bombarded by all this other stuff. Some of it is useful, but most isn't.
If they are going to copy Google, they better do a much better job than Yahoo. That page is so boring to look at and isn't even the main page. I also like the fact that Google changes their banner depending on the day or holiday and yet can keep everything simple, clear, and clean.
I went to google because it was simply a search engine, and I will stick with google for the same reason. - Posted by: doe_z Posted on: 05/25/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
