"dodgy"?

You are assuming that there are no basis for the "threats", which neither you nor I know.

This is a very poor assumption, you analogy doesn't stand up at all.

For all you or I know,a better anology wculd be someone "threatening" to call the police on a guy walking out of a house he just broke into stealing a bunch of jewelry. Yeah, they're "threats", and they're very justfied.

Luckily fr the rest of us, this country isn't directed by what would apparently be YOUR favorite kind of court, the Kangaroo kind.
