Torvalds: Solaris could nudge Linux to GPL 3
Another fine example of linux following behind others. Always 2 steps behind. Linus Torvalds, the leader of the linux pack shows his incompetence by waiting to see what others are doing. I don't know why people are still using linux given that the leader is not a leader as well as the OS always lagging behind. This is a "me too" OS which hasn't shown any sign of innovation. Switching to GPL 3 is just going to hurt it more (and I have no problems with that) as many developers can see through the bull crap that is written in it. Developers don't want to give up their right to own their code. They want to be able to protect it. I see this going absolutely nowhere.
