This is true. I've got 28 small databases with a total of 500 MB. They USED to be Access based. It sucked. We moved it to MS SQL2k, but I would have preferred MySQL. MS's really is overkill.
Access has its place.
MySQL has its place.
MS SQL has its place.
Oracle has its place.
A DBMS is a tool, like an OS.
