Good point ... but
while there are those CEO's (Mike Cox?) who will ONLY allow purchase or use of MS products and others who will ONLY use Linux (Eddie Ball) because the HATE Microsoft, most CEO's are completely vendor agnostic. They will use whatever they purceive as doing the job best at a reasonable price, and they are not afraid to mix and match vendors to achieve that, if necessary. And those are the CEO's that will benefit from increased interoperability. And despite what this article says, Linux will benefit from this tool as much or more than MS. MS sees it as a way to bring Linux users to MS, but it could just as easily be a way to bring MS users to Linux.
