Not to over criticize.
But shouldn't the article really be called "Software maker helps Unix [apps] run on Windows"? Cause that is what they are really doing. They are helping old Unix apps run on Windows so that the customer can slowly migrate to a Windows OS (environment, as they call it).

I don't see too much of a market here. Current Unix apps already run on Windows. The Unix users who use the old Unix apps probably have one of the highend Unixs because it meets their needs. I doubt they will move to Windows even if it is cheaper.

What we need is more companies working on making Windows apps run on Unix. Codeweavers is great, so is WINE... but there is still room for more. That will truely be uniting both environments. Because so far, it has been a one way street, adding another lane going the same way doesn't help too much, especially when there is little traffic.
