Nice!
Another major product goes OSS. One after the other, second tier software products are going open source. This gives them the ability to present a united front against the market leaders as key features from each are now freely exchanged between them. And while business power users will continue to have to pay for the best of breed, ordinary business users will now enjoy open market pricing for enhanced second tier products and lightweight business users on the tightest budgets will have access to the software for free. This is great news for the consumer and hopefully it will work out well for Computer Associates as well!
