Linux is almost extinguished....
The plan is in motion, the players are falling in line. All that is left is to kill Red Hat and domination will be complete. And it is none too soon for this high-powered CIO. As my rep and I take in the view from Yarrow's today, we will bask in the glow of another "open source" company signing up to join Microsoft and the Windows Server 2008 steam roller. Novell and Xanadros know that Microsoft is all-knowing, all-powerful and all-awesome and don't want to get crushed completely. This has nothing to do with patents and everything to do with Longhorn.
