What jobs are lacking?
I see lots of jobs I could apply for if I wanted to. I've had people offer me jobs and contract work. It seems that they can't find workers from what I've heard.

It's all in the skill set you have. If you have an MSCE or 2 year IT diploma that everyone else has but no one seems to have the skills that companies are looking for. So if you can't find work, find out what these companies are looking for and learn that skill.

IT is life long learning. I know of people who have thier Masters in Computer Science from the early 80s and are computer illiterate today. At the same time I know people who have 2 year diploma course and 10 years experience where they continued learning who are extremely skilled.

Just imagine how skilled an IT pro with a 20 a year old Masters Degree and 20 years of learning and experience is. Compare this same IT pro that just stagnated for 20 years. I know one of each type, the differnce is amazing.
