However...who wouldn't be with those kinds of poverty-level "opportunities"...

I believe another poster said something about being offered a job for $15k less than similar jobs on hotjobs.com.

While I can't attest to the accuracy of this (mostly because I don't waste my time looking for IT jobs that pay less than the local gas station), I can say that Robert Half is often criticized for this very reason. Let's just say I've heard the name more than once. Their business model appears to be one of riding (with their full weight no less) on the backs of people that are already in financial trouble...and THEN taking their "cut"...
