Is Vista helping boost PC sales?

I can't wait....

Personally I'm exuberant about Vista's effect on PC hardware, As higher end PC"s become more of a commodity , Novell's SLED will perform 4X better than any MOSS does on the same gear, as it is now all the Vista desktop enhancements are already included in SLED and they perform as good on XP compatible hardware as Vista does on the best hardware available to it. I run an IBM R51 laptop 512 ram and intel 855gm video with 32m , I get full 3d support with multiple desktops on a cube and unbelievable Openoffice performance(even when I save in MS formats)combine that with the many multimedia extension available from Europe and there is nothing I can't do better and faster than Vista, while I'm on XP hardware.

p.s. for those who want most of Vista without the "tax" upgrade you video card and load this onto your XP,
