So you are saying....

That there another OS out there that has sold 40 million copies in 3 months? I thought not. LInux has been available for 25 years, a quarter of a century.....2% marketshare...hmmmmm.?

Dell's decision to sell Linux has not played out yet, so how could we say whether Dell made a good move of not? What is also funny is before Dell made that decision, you and the rest of the ABMers hated Dell with almost the same passion as Microsoft. Glad to see your doublestandard and lack of ethics hasn't changed.

As for Dell still selling XP, as stated about Linux 2% marketshare....of course a new OS has slower uptake most often and the prior OS will still sell. What you seem to not realize is that all of the XP sales, along the 40 million Vista sales, all still mean sales for Microsoft. And the XP sales are on machines that can run Vista and will surely be the upgrade path in the future as people see Vista emerge as the top rated OS in the world. It's funny how vista blew by a quarter of a century worth of Linux trying to make it in the marketplace, in 3 months. ha Ha ha...now THAT is funny zkeewee. Very very Funny.
HA HA HA HA HA......oh wait...vista blew by Apple on intel as well....another OS that's been around for 20+ years....in THREE MONTHS!! And you proved it was by choice...since they could have gotten XP or XPMC....but they chose Vista. You very aptly called that one.
