Well, there's doubt because an original idea can be useless, but I appreciate the implicit assumption that making money from an idea is good. What's the "value" of an idea if it doesn't increase sales of software. Okay, maybe it increases the need for services, but that implies a poor implementation.

So Red Hat's CEO endorses IP and the intellectual framework behind proprietary software. He's been selling software for so long he forgot to pretend he wasn't for a moment.
