I find it interesting...
I find it even more interesting that SCO wants to have the AutoZone case before dealing with IBM. It does make you think that they know they have no case and they want to see if the courts will make AutoZone shell out cash due to the fact that they aren't really a tech firm and can't really show any proof either way that linux ran away with any code.

I think thats a bit underhanded by SCO. Go after a company who you say has used supposedly "your" IP, who was forced to switch, thanks to "your" not supporting of the software anymore, then pushing a lawsuit on them for continuing ones business.

I also notice they say that IBM seems to be sticking up for AutoZone. "on the theory that, while the future of the global economy may hang in the balance, the issue of IBM's copyright infringement should be decided not in this case involving IBM, but in the case SCO just filed against AutoZone, an auto parts company that has had little, if anything, to do with the development of Linux." The judge should toss SCO a kick to the groin here, they have no right to go after AutoZone until it's proven or disproven that any of their "so-called" IP is inside linux. This is a total and complete farce in my opinion. I can't wait until the judge rules against SCO and we watch the companies who filed countersuits run them into the ground.
