If you owned copyrights to code that you discovered were copied in an open source project, wouldn't you "use the court system" to correct the problem if you had to?

Absolutely. Just like SCO.

And so companies could immediately stop using my property until the case was tested in court, I would also show, in detail, exactly what IP of mine someone had misappropriated, just like SC... oh, that's right, they refuse to do that.
