OLPC is getting out of hand
Technology is expected to do this, anyway. Plus, OLPC is no longer $100. It's like $170 or something. It's getting quickly commercialized and has lost some vision. Basically, the world's labor forces are now tapped. Merited laborers will soon rule the world. It's called "Dictatorship of the Proletariat" by Karl Marx. He was right about a thing or two.

My concern is this: user interfaces. We are bound to see more user interfaces coming about. Why do we need a keyboard to get our work done? What if the cell phone did it all without us needing a keyboard to do our labor? Then why the hell have a laptop ever? It would be all cell phones and web servers. That's going to happen soon, I predict. User interface software innovation.
