You mean like the poor people that lost their IT jobs because India does it cheaper? Who's the lemming here? You can not fire me since you do not pay me. You can not take away my job because it wasn't yours to give in the first place. Because the OSS developers do not always get paid they have more power. Take the product in a direction i do not like and I will no longer contribute code.

Now that sounds a lot better then working from nine to five creating brilliant software at thirdworld salaries just to see the boss and management, who have no talent creating code what so ever, get rich of of your work and then outsourcing your job leaving you unemployed. Try and outsource an oss developer that works for free happy
