The Desktop is Dead; with its death Java rises
Microsoft management well recognized browsers as replacements for the Windows operating system desktop. This is why monopoly power was illegally used against Netscape.

The reason the desktop is dead is mobility. Mobile computing means phone devices - small displays and voice interfaces. If not for monopoly power being used to support Microsoft Windows, we would be speaking into our computers by now. - I really believe this.
